Description
Delivery & Returns

The capacitive filling level systems or filling level probes by RECHNER are based on the patented 3-electrode measuring principle. There are 3 variations available: TrueLevel, PerLevel and i-Level.

  1. The TrueLevel filling level systems use an analogue measuring principle. The output signals made available are 4…20 mA or 0…10 V. They have an automatic compensation of the dielectric constant εr. The probe measures the current conditions in the reference area, which is at the tip of the probe, and automatically compensates potential deviations, that may occur, for example when the material changes or in case of any changes in the dielectric constant of the product. The setting of the probe is carried out with an empty container. This is especially advantageous, since the filling of the container would often take up a great deal of time or not be possible.

  2. PerLevel are capacitive filling level measuring systems for the measurement of threshold values. With this system, a single probe can measure up to 4 threshold values/fill levels. The customer determines the position and number of desired switching points. This allows the probes to be optimally adjusted to the customers’ requirements.

The variations of the TrueLevel and PerLevel probes with separate analysis electronics can be used in a high temperature range up to +250 °C if the probes are ordered with suitable housing material.

  3. i-Level are capacitive filling level probes with analogue and/or binary switching points, where the user him- or herself adjusts the position of the analogue measuring sections or the 1 or 2 switching points and can also make adjustments on other positions within the model-specific measuring range area as required. The analysis electronics are integrated in the i-Level probes.

The maximum length of the probes for all three systems is 2,000 mm. Different housing materials and process connections are available, robust, chemically resistant, food safe, depending on requirements, for use in all kinds of industrial sectors.
