Red Lion's FlexEdge™ DA70A with PID modules provides a fully scalable platform to solve PID control applications.
The modular architecture allows the user to to easily add cellular, Wi-Fi, serial, or USB connectivity. Up to 10 I/O modules including can be placed alongside of the FlexEdge™ and provides : PID control, analog I/O, digital I/O, universal inputs and relays outputs.

The Red Lion DA PID modules are full featured PID controllers designed for use with the DA70 controllers.
The PDP1 modules are a single loop controller, while the PDP2 is a dual loop controller and can accept a wide range of thermocouple, RTD, 0-10 V, 0/4-20 mA signals.
The PDSG modules are a single loop controller for load cell, pressure and torque bridge inputs (20mV, 33mV or 200mV full scale).
The design of the system provides a true modular PID control platform for multi-zone control applications.
With multiple discrete outputs (relay or SSR), plus an analog output (PDP1 only), the DA PID modules can perform virtually any combination of timeproportioning or linear control for heat, cool, or heat/cool applications. The discrete outputs may also be assigned to one of seven internal soft alarms. The PDP1’s linear output can be assigned to transmit virtually any internal variable.
