Sick i110P Rugged electro-mechanical safety position switch with roller plunger.

The i110P safety position switch features a die-cast zinc housing, making it a more durable safety solution. Its roller plunger with stainless steel roller makes it ideal for high actuator forces. Plus, its different switching elements offer optimum electrical connectivity.

Safety position switches are used for reliably identifying dangerous movements, even at high speeds. The i110R safety position switch offers a standardized housing made from die-cast zinc and a metal turning lever with a plastic roller. The turning lever can be actuated with high torques, ensuring the entire safety switch withstands harsh system use. Its different switching elements provide optimum electrical connectivity.

Safety switches with a separate actuator are made up of two parts: a safety switch that is mounted on the fixed part and an actuator that is mounted on the mobile part of the guard. When the guard is closed, the actuator is moved into the safety switch. This achieves the safe status and the safety-relevant contacts are closed. These devices are ideal for protecting sliding and rotating doors, as well as removable protective covers. The i110S safety switch with a separate actuator has a rugged housing that enables optimal protection against external influences, ensuring high machine reliability.
