Capacitive level measurement has proven itself as one of the most universal level measurement principles. The reason for this is the possibility of the measurement of almost all products, no matter if liquids, bulk materials or pastes.
In these days, increasingly float switches, rotating switches and vibrating forks are being replaced by more reliable capacitive sensors and capacitive level measuring systems. The electronic systems operate without
mechanical activation thus they are not subject to contact bounce. There is no maintenance and the service life is independent of the switching frequency.
The capacitive level measurement systems in this range all operate according to RECHNER’s patented three-electrode-principle. Classic capacitive sensors are based on the two-electrode measuring principle.
