Are you spending a lot of money on monitoring remote systems and machines? The Phoenix Contact SMS relay PSI-MODEM-SMS-REL is a remote control and signalling system that provides six inputs for analog or digital signals, together with four relay outputs.
SMS messages can be sent for a number of conditions.
- Change of status at the input
- Analog input value above or below set values
- Loss and/or recovery of the power supply
- Periodic messages.
The Phoenix Contact SMS relay is an easy to use remote control and signaling system. Six digital or configurable analog/digital inputs and four relay outputs with PDT contacts are monitored using SMS messages via a GSM mobile phone network. On any change of status at the input, a freely definable message is sent to the selected recipients by SMS.
Using a predefined message, the outputs can be enabled and disabled by SMS. In this way, an error can be acknowledged and even removed remotely. As an option, the relay can be switched for a predefined period of time.
The SMS relay is particularly suitable for:
- Machine, building and system monitoring
- Pumps, sewage treatment plants water supply
- Lighting conrol systems, remote switchgear
- Elevators, gates
- Alarm technology and building services
- HVAC technology
- Temperature monitoring
